Chris Taylor

17+ yearsat the service counterU.S. Navyveteran

Chris owns Danny’s Automotive in Midland, Texas. He built Ring Ring around the work he knows: helping advisors handle real customer conversations and helping a shop owner turn training into something the team uses.

With more than 17 years of counter experience, he understands how much of the job happens between the first question and the final handoff.

Bring the owner’s question. Or the advisor’s.Chris brings experience from both sides of the counter.

Angel Villarreal

20+ yearsin service-business sales3+ yearsin automotive, advisor to GM

Angel brings more than 20 years in service-business sales and over three years of direct automotive experience, from service advisor to general manager.

That perspective connects the customer conversation to the operation behind it: the promises you make, the work you coordinate, and the people you lead.

From earning the customer’s trust to leading the shop.Bring the sales question and the management challenge behind it.

Coaching for the work around the call, too.

The counter.
The team. The business.

Phones are one part of the job. Live coaching is also a place to work on the decisions, processes, and relationships that shape the rest of the day.

01 / Service advising

Help customers make a decision.

Explain testing and repairs, handle objections, and ask for the work with confidence.

02 / Customer relationships

Build trust beyond the sale.

Set expectations, communicate a delay, and work through a difficult customer conversation.

03 / Processes

Make the handoffs work.

Talk through check-in, approvals, updates, and the places where your day keeps getting stuck.

04 / Dispatch

Keep the work moving.

Work through priorities, technician capacity, and the promises your team makes at the counter.

05 / Your numbers

Know what needs attention.

Understand what your numbers are telling you and connect them to a decision you can make in the shop.

06 / Your people

Lead the team through it.

Discuss hiring, expectations, accountability, and how to have the conversation you’ve been putting off.

Two live group sessions every week.

Your question can help
the whole room.

Bring a situation from your shop. Work it through with Chris or Angel and other members. Someone else’s question may uncover something you hadn’t thought to ask.

You bring the context. Your coaches bring experience and another perspective. Together, work toward a next step you can take back to the team.

An example to bring to a group session

“We’re selling the work.
But we keep missing
the promised time.”

Where is the day breaking down?

Talk through dispatch, capacity, and the handoff between your advisors and technicians.

What should change at the counter?

Work on setting a realistic expectation and updating the customer when the plan changes.

What will you try next?

Choose a change to put into practice and bring back what you learn.

The Ring Ring shop community.

A place to talk shop.
And work through the hard parts.

Advisors, managers, and owners have different roles, but their challenges overlap. Connect with other shop people, compare approaches, and learn from what someone else has already worked through.

Talk through expectations, communication, and the next conversation.

Compare what other shops look for and how they evaluate a candidate.

Is the live coaching human or AI?

The two weekly live group sessions are human coaching, led by Chris Taylor and Angel Villarreal as your primary coaches. The AI call coach is a separate part of Ring Ring for practice and feedback between sessions.

Is this one-on-one coaching?

The included live coaching is group coaching: two sessions per week with other members. You can bring questions and learn from the situations other shops bring, too.

Do we only talk about phones?

Coaching covers the full job: service advising, customer relationships, processes, dispatch, understanding your numbers, and team leadership. The community is also a place for broader shop questions.

Will Chris and Angel be in the community?

Yes. Both are active in the community alongside Ring Ring advisors, managers, and owners.

Is this separate from Chris’s product walkthrough?

The walkthrough is a chance to see Ring Ring in Chris’s shop and ask about joining. The twice-weekly group coaching and shop community are part of the ongoing membership.
